A Perfect Storm: A Biblical Solution - Part 4

Some of us have been awakened to a new reality of the seen and unseen effects of the economic, medical, and racial warfare that has overshadowed our lands globally. The matrix of governments, controlled media, national and international corporations, and the global and monetary banking systems have proceeded to move together in lockstep to shut down almost every aspect of life. It is based on deception and fear and, although many are becoming aware of the fraud and lies, still many more have submitted to mind control. Masks were everywhere!

Where is it all going? We have looked into the future and the powers-that-be have already told us what’s coming. A 2nd wave of the so-called virus pandemic, renewed restrictions, further economic upheaval, travel restrictions, mandatory testing, vaccinations, digital money and so forth. It all portends to add up to accelerating conflict and destruction, confusion, more fear, and increased division.

Is there a biblical solution?

Step Outside the Matrix: The Practical

Although we feel the effects of the matrix of this world system, there is another perspective that exists outside this matrix. I ask the question, What is God’s perspective and what is He intending to do?

Most Christians would conclude that everything that is happening now around the planet is proof-positive that we are in the last days of the “last days” or “end time” of prophetic fulfillment prior to Jesus Christ’s “second coming.” However, I conclude that God is using the events and circumstances of this present time to bring His Covenant People together.

In His great mercy, and by His grace, the God of our fathers may be gathering the scattered lost sheep of true Israel once again to form local fellowship groups that will result in local church assemblies – temples of the Living God. This will be a renewed and greater reformation than we can imagine.

The reality of the present situation is going to drive us together if for nothing else but to survive. Consider the potential consequences of the ongoing, deliberate destruction in so many ways: food and water shortages, limited travel, interrupted electrical power and fuel supplies, internet outages, down communications, and increased personal danger from marauding gangs or desperate people, You get the idea. Could God be using the situation at hand to give us no choice but to come together? I think so. And we need each other now and, in the future, to help support and protect each other – more than ever!

Step Outside the Matrix: The Power

It’s not just the practical necessities in view here. The “eternal purpose” God has ordained in His local church assemblies is to be a witness “to the rulers and the authorities” in order to make known to them “the manifold wisdom of God” (Ephesians 3:10-11). As I explain in chapter 12 in my book, The Kingdom of God Manifested:

The church was the creation with intention of how God was going to set everything in order for an outworking that would expand beyond the church. That administration or stewardship in and through the local church, revealed by Paul in Ephesians 3:10, was a more specific commission: to communicate “the manifold wisdom of God to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.” The administration of God points more specifically to the church as God’s voice to clearly affirm the innumerable variety of applications of God’s wisdom that “will match with any situation which life may bring to us.” (p. 143)

Wisdom (Greek: sophia) combines the principles of God in the letter and spirit of His laws with practical application in all the various areas of life. (p. 144)

Wisdom supplies the knowledge and understanding as to how to manifest the Kingdom of God in righteousness, order, and peace. It interacts with economics, morality, education, and all aspects of civil and criminal law, for example, in respect to “right conduct in obedience to the will of God rather than theoretical insight.” (p. 145)

The local church has a commission. The body of Christ has the role to speak and act for God by His Spirit of Truth.

In short, the local church should be taking dominion to manifest the Kingdom of God. Is it possible that that can be realized now? Let’s allow the written Word of God to speak for itself:

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. – Ephesians 3:20-21

What more could I add to that? If, as the Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ has all power and authority and the church shares in that too even to today’s generation, then nothing is impossible.

Yes, there is a solution to this massive display of matrix power. God is giving us the opportunity and occasion to conquer the powers of darkness and bring forth righteousness, peace, joy, and the display of His power. Our God reigns!
